On Friday, March 30th, the class of STG went to explore the department of Loire. The teenagers went to Chambles, where is a small castle wgise name is the castle of Essalois.
It's above a lake : the lake of Grangent.
The castle of Essalois is on a place which constitutes a naturally strengthened strategic point and inhabited by people from time immemorial.
It's an old castle. It was built in 1580 by Léonard de Bertrand who is a lord.
The castle has sudden some renovation and some owner's change.
I found this nice castle because we can climb until top of this one
